Recently I took a trip to Buffalo, New York for a day of skiing. I had tons of fun and it was a great way to start off the ski season! But harsh temperatures and winds can be very damaging to your skin, so how did I keep mine protected? Below are a few tips and tricks on keeping your skin healthy in the cold temperatures winter has to offer!
Moisturize:
Before I left to ski, I made sure to use my H&H Science Ultra Lite Oil Free Moisturizer, and constantly reapply throughout the day. Moisturizing has to be one of, if not the most, important ways of achieving healthy skin, especially in the colder months. I cannot begin to describe how useful my H&H Science Ultra Lite Oil Free Moisturizer Moisturizer has been and the wonders it has done for my skin.
Apply Sunscreen:
In my previous blog posts I have written about how often I used my H&H Science Ultra Lite Oil Free Sunscreen over the summer, but it is also important to use sunscreen year round. Believe it or not I have been sunburned after skiing multiple times due to the higher altitudes. No matter where I am I always like to apply sunscreen throughout the day just to keep my skin even more protected.
What do you think?
What do you do to keep your skin healthy and protected throughout the cold, winter months? Do you use any of the tricks or products I use? Let me know in the comments below!
